Neeralta Welding & Sales Ltd. started building elk squeezes in 1997 for Kiwi Elk Systems. We built three different model squeezes along with cow boxes and panels. In 2002 we took over the squeeze sales from Kiwi Elk Systems and changed the name to Velvet King Systems. In total (Kiwi and Velvet King models) there are between 160 and 180 squeezes in Canada, the United States and Mexico, and 5 in New Zealand.

Features of 'the 02 Model
This squeeze is the same as the '98 model except it is made taller and wider to accommodate hard horn bulls. Entry width is 72" (6 ft) and inside height is 108" (9 ft). It also has 36" (3 ft) lift on the panels instead of 24" on the '98 model.

Cow Box
For elk farmers who cannot justify the need for a squeeze, the Cow Box makes handling needs easy.
The Cow Box incorporates a "Padded Restraining System" that fits into an existing alleyway.
With pads squeezing the animal, more restraining pressure can be applied to stop the elk from moving around. This allows TB testing, AI work, and many other functions to be performed with safety and ease.
